Silver Pepper Pots, Sterling, Cut Glass, Mother of Pearl, Hallmarked 1928
Very attractive pair of cut glass pepper pots with hallmarked silver lids with mother of pearl top area. They are hallmarked from Birmingham in 1928 with the makers mark being that of Barker Brothers Silver Ltd. There is evidence within the pots of them being used, some patches of pepper remain stuck inside and try as we might we have been unable to move this, also a few small nibbles to the actual top of the glass necks however these small imperfections are covered completly when the lids are in place. They each measure 50mm in height. Tartan bow shown in any images is not included with the sale of the item.
