This is a formal man's haori jacket made of a high grade satin silk. The lining is handpainted with a Chinese landscape. The artist signed his/her name, and it looks as if another individual wrote the inscription/poem to the left of the name. There are 3 stamps, one for the artist, one for the calligrapher, and one for ???
There are 5 family crests, indicating that the haori was made to be worn for formal occasions.
This painting is a fine work of art!
