Hi!

Thankyou for taking the time to view my product. My name is Michelle, and I have been involved in men's, women's and children's clothing for over 40 years, working in the areas of design, making of patterns, cutting and sewing, and quality control.

I have been making and selling these fitted bandanas for years, after a friend couldn't find any quality ones around. He said the ones he had bought didn't last, so asked me to make a pattern and sew for him. This is how my bandana making started, and then branched out to many styles and for many purposes.

These FITTED BANDANAS have an added layer of towelling fabric inserted into the front of the inner headband to absorb excessive sweat. Helps prevent the sweat dripping into the eyes, and also the fogging up of your glasses.

One of my customers who normally buys my regular fitted bandanas had asked me to add the layer of towelling. After testing, he has given the following feedback :

'In a word - fantastic. The addition of the sweatband makes an already good product even better. The reason I asked for the sweatband is that I cycle for exercise around five days a week. This is vigorous exercise so I sweat heavily regardless of the season although the hotter the weather the more one perspires. I also wear glasses so the big problem for me is to stop the sweat running into my eyes and glasses because that is not only uncomfortable but it also impairs my vision. I found with my original bandana that - whilst it was good at soaking up the sweat, it became saturated after about an hour and its absorbency performance would then drop off. With the improved banadana with the added towelling layer, I rode for an hour and a half this morning and it soaked up all the sweat and would've gone for another half hour or so before it became saturated. Admittedly it was a cool morning but I have done this for years so I have a good idea of what works and what doesn't work. Cycling with a helmet on is hot work and your bandanas with the towelling band work much better than normal sweatbands because they also absorb sweat from the head as well as the brow. After a ride I just rinse the bandana in the shower and hang it on the line to dry; three months on, the original is standing up to daily use very well.'

Skullcap bandanas, or dorags as they're sometimes called, are a fashionable and useful style of head wear. When worn under a cycling helmet, as well as being sweat absorbers, they give added advantages of back of the neck sun protection and warmth and protection of the head.

One size fits all, adjustable by tying to the required size.
