This is an old 35 mm format manual focus lens with adapter to SONY E mount NEX series or new Alpha series MILC (mirrorless) body. Not a native SONY autofocus lens.

35 mm film camera lens' film coverage is 36 x 24 mm, so called full frame by digital standard.

E-mount. Not A-mount. For cameras like A7 A6000 NEX-5 etc.

I have fully tested this lens to ensure the functionality. The test photo is taken with this lens mounted on SONY NEX-5 digital.

Formula 5 brand 28 mm F 2.8 lens SN 384056 M42 universal screw mount, and an M42 mount adapter to NEX E-mount MILC body.

Adapter can be removed and used on other M42 mount lens.

1970's lens. Much better build quality than nowadays plastic lens. 28 mm wide angle lens. Great lens for outdoor photography.

• Front cap 58 mm.
• 58 mm filter for front end protection. UV, Skylight, Haze, etc. Good usable condition.
• A soft lens bag.

Everything works as it should. Glass is in good shape. Front coating is in near perfect condition. Some minor dust, normal for a 50 years old lens. None of these presents effect to photo quality. Test photo is attached. 

Focus is smooth and firm. Old school lens feel. 

Aperture works well. 

Externally this lens is in good shape with light usage wear. Filter thread has no problem accepting filter. Please inspect the listing photos for cosmetic condition.
