The History

This style of Moonraker cards was released by 3 companies in 1979. VU (a/k/a Vanderhout International) were sticker cards distributed in the Netherlands; these are by far the most common cards and wrappers. In France, the same cards were distributed by AGE as traditional trading cards (not stickers) with no text on the back explaining the pictures on the front of the cards. These cards and the wrappers are very scarce. This is the wrapper you will receive. In Bilbao, Spain the cards were distributed by FHER S.A.. These cards were noticeably thicker than the VU and AGE cards, and the backs were also different, with text (in Spanish) explaining the images on the front of the cards. FHER cards and wrappers are extraordinarily rare. Don’t miss this opportunity to add this rare item to your vintage James Bond collection!
