CASED RARE SILVER FERRULED 1926 MOTHER OF PEARL HANDLED LETTER OPENER

On offer today is a splendid genuine Sheffield Sterling Silver Ferruled hand carved Mother of Pearl Handled Letter Opener which is very pleasing on the eyes. The piece has a genuine steel blade which has a mirrored finish. The handle is hand carved out of Mother of Pearl in the silver capped and ferruled style and is in fantastic condition for the age.

The ferrule is hallmarked with the with the letter i for 1926 along with the Lion Passant, Crown and the Makers mark which is H.W - the Makers Mark for Henry Wigfall. The item is in fantastic condition as the photos reflects. The Letter opener is 23 cm in length and weighs 56 grammes.
