RARE, EARLY FRENCH MAJOLICA ART POTTERY CACHE POT / DOUBLE-HANDLED JARDINIERE

CRAFTED IN FRANCE 

ART NOUVEAU RELIEF DESIGN OF SCROLLS, WREATHS & FLOWERS. THE INTERIOR IS BURGUNDY RED & THE EXTERIOR IS DEEP GREEN & DEEP PINK GLAZE.

CLEARLY MARKED " #868 / FRIE ONNAING / MADE IN FRANCE / MEPOCO WARE 

Circa 1920's

Measures: 14 1/4" wide x 11" x 8 1/4"  

Condition: Very nice antique condition with a couple of issues. 

There is one hairline fracture in one of the flowers (image 11).

 The second, a chip to the base of one of the handles. I have shown this in images 14-15.

As you can see it is much less noticeable when the item is sitting on a surface (image 16)

Lastly, the rim has some wear to glaze, these are not chips.

Vintage/Antique items will show wear commensurate with age and use, any major flaws will be noted.
