RARE CELLULOID PIGGY BANK PIG MAMA COIN 1940s ‘50s HARD PLASTIC CLEAR & RED HAT

Darling Pig Mama bank reads “PIG MAMA Put pennies in get dollars out.” It’s the type of little bank that many businesses and banks gave away to customers with their advertising on it. Because this bank has only a cute saying and is clear and red celluloid, it’s quite rare. I’ve photographed it from as many angles as possible to show its flaws. It has a sliver of clear plastic chipped under chin; previous owner carved coin slot slightly larger, probably to allow folded bills; small crack on red side at end of slot; longer crack on clear side from hip to below tail; and small surface scratch on back of pig on clear side near bottom above its feet. Sorry for ring light reflections on some photos. Red side is still very shiny. Clear side has yellowed a bit with age. Please examine all photos carefully to understand my description.
