For sale is this beautiful De Rosa Titanio custom build roadbike. 

This is a recent custom build from a NOS / never built or ridden vintage (mid-late 90s?) De Rosa Titanio titanium frameset with a Campagnolo Super Record 11-speed rim brake groupset and brand new (NOS) TokenC28 carbon wheels (c. 1300g). 

The blue finished titanium frameset is extremely rare andone of the finest titanium road frames available, hand built in Italy with G9 gradetitanium by De Rosa master builders.

This model of frameset was used in the pro cycling peletonduring the 1994 season by the (in)famous Gewiss pro team by cycling legendssuch as Mario Argentin, Evgeni Berzin, Bjarne Riis, Guido Bontempi and PiotrUgramov, and won numerous races including overall at the Giro d’Italia, ,astage of the Tour de France and 3 stages of the Veulta d’Espania, Liege-Baston-Liege,Milan San Remo and Fleche-Wallone, among many others.

The modern version of this frameset (De Rosa TitanioSolo) is identical aside from a slightly larger tube diameter and the positionof the cable bosses, and has an RRP of £5,700 for the frameset alone.

The fame size is Large and would likely suit a rider5'11" - 6'2" or so. I'm 6 foot and the saddle height shown is set upfor my fit:

The carbon fork steerer is left uncut to give the next owner plenty of flexibility in bike fit.

The build also includes full carbon Columbus Minimal carbon forks, carbon 420mm handlebars, a carbon seatpost, carbon rail saddle and Campangolo carbon suited brake blocks. Pedals are Exhaustar composite (Look compatible).

The build is brand new save for a few dozen miles to test everything works perfectly, which it does. The ride is sublime, with a buttery smoothness over bumpy roads but with an inherent stiffness in the sprints and on the climbs. It's a very comfortable, and probably has the best ride of anybike I’ve ever ridden, including my weekend carbon modern superbike.

The front chainrings have been upgraded to TA industries 51t/ 36t.

The cassette is a brand new Miche 11-28 (Shimano fit) and the rear wheel freehub is Shimano, this doesn’t affect shifting which is perfect (11-speed sprocket spacing is the same for Campagnolo and Shimano).

Tyres are Continental GP5000 25mm (clinchers).

Weight c.7.4 kg (without pedals).
