The idea to design 24h Airport watch came from Hans Greyn (Krefeld, Germany) and the production was organized by Horst Wegwert from Switzerland. The actual designer of this watch was Hanno Burtscher - he worked many years at IWC and designed watches like Da Vinci perpetual calendar-chronograph. Airport is a true 24 hour watch - hour hand makes one revolution in 24 hours. 

These watches here I bought them at the late Hans Greyn estate auction. They are unique test watches - several versions were made before the final production model was selected (stainless steel case, full silver dial, black leather strap). Therefore, you can assume that when you buy such a test watch, no one has exactly the same watch.
