Available for purchase is a Lot of (41) Miscellaneous 100 Year Old Post Office Stamps + (11) Other Type Stamps. Those of you who have followed our listings the last 5 years know we have been putting items on eBay as we got ready to move. We finally moved. I’ve had this small box of stamps packed away for many many years. I tried posting 2 listings of 2 and 3 stamps by themselves with little success so I thought I’d just post all of them together.

These stamps have an interesting history. My grandfather was Postmaster of Wisner, Nebraska from the 1890’s until his passing in 1945. He kept these stamps in a small box that my grandmother gave to me in the 1950’s. They have essentially been packed away since then. I’ve been meaning to list them.

I've included several pictures of these stamps. I really know nothing about stamps. I’m not a stamp collector. I looked on eBay to educate myself. I found several of these stamps posted. I think what makes these different is to know the history behind them. I’ve priced the lot accordingly.

Picture # 1 shows all 41 postal stamps plus the 11 other type stamps together. Pictures # 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 show 40 of the stamps in individual pictures. Picture # 7 shows a closeup of the 41st stamp by itself that I thought was interesting and different. You’ll notice it has a “hand written stamp” date of “5/18/01.”  Pictures # 9  and 10 are pictures of the 11 stamps I called “other type stamps.” And finally, pictures # 11, 12, 13 and 14 are pictures of the 100 year old box they were kept in all these years.

When you use the "closeup magnification" and "click to enlarge" features provided by eBay, along with my picture descriptions, you should be able to determine more closely these stamps' condition and value. 

These stamps will be carefully packed and shipped by USPS Economy Mail. For over 19 years I had shipped by FedEx SmartPost, but eBay has recently changed their way of charging for FedEx. FULL INSURANCE IS INCLUDED IN THE SHIPPING .
