How to care for your Blue Raspberry Plants
Choose a spot to plant where the wind doesn't bluster and ensure your spot doesn't collect water (ie: don't plant at the bottom of a slope). Choose a spot where the plants will get 6-8 hours of sun a day. The best fertilizer for your raspberry bushes is a general purpose 10-10-10 fertilizer. Fertilize in early spring.

Germination Procedure: Soak seeds in a glass of water for 24 hours. Next, cold stratify seeds in the freezer to simulate winter conditions and thus break dormancy for 2 months. Sow when soil temperatures are warm. Sow seeds at an 1/8 of an inch depth, barely covering them. Keep seeds and soil moist throughout the germination phase.
