Late 1920s flapper dress has a marvelous trompe l'oeil bow reminiscent of famous designs of the era. This fragile navy blue silk dress has Art Deco piecing, with fluttery points over the shoulders, a jaunty cut to the sleeve, and detailed waist with tabbed button accents. The bow is a flat pair of lace panels appliqued above a sheer pair of tails in shattered chiffon and lace. This dress is too fragile for wearing, and its condition is poor (see Condition Detail below). Best for display, salvage, or pattern copying.
