♥ Aventurine is a name for a type of Quartz mineral, which sparkles due to a uniform inclusion of other minerals. It is most commonly green, but may also be blue, pink, red, white, or yellow. Aventurine grows alongside various colored Quartz, such as Amethyst, Citrine and Rose Quartz, as well as by Calcite and other gemstones. These are all mined from primary deposits that still having their original relationship with the host rock.
