For gears that you can and will actually use

Please be sure that in addition to your wheel, your bicycle -frame- can take 9 or 10 speed cassettes.

If your bike originally came with 9 or 10 speed cassettes, it should work fine. 

While this cassette did fit my wheel, the cassette did not fit into my older bike -frame-
