CASED RARE SILVER FERRULED 1918 MOTHER OF PEARL HANDLED LETTER OPENER

On offer today is a splendid genuine Sheffield Sterling Silver Ferruled hand carved Mother of Pearl Handled Letter Opener which is very pleasing on the eyes. The piece has a genuine steel blade which has a mirrored finish. The handle is hand carved out of Mother of Pearl and is in fantastic condition for the age.

The ferrule is hallmarked with the with the letter A for 1918 along with the Lion Passant, Crown and the Makers mark which is J.Y - the Makers Mark for John Yates. The item is in fantastic condition as the photos reflect. The Letter opener is 21 cm in length and weighs 41 grammes.
