This particular item is a 1 kg or 2.2 pound copper ingot that is hand cast and finished right here in the shop!

Pictures are examples of bars made, your bar will be very similar but will have slight variations that are natural to the casting process.

My shop only uses pure copper rice to manufacture product. No scrap product enters the furnace as we cannot ensure the purity or potential safety hazards from this material. I stand behind this quality 100%.

All bars are custom cast, hand poured , and hand worked , your bar will be unique as each pour is distinctive and no two bars are identical.

About Silver Coast Copper! The shop is located on the east coast of North Carolina just at the foot of the Outer Banks in Wilmington, North Carolina. This lower southern portion of the North Carolina coast is called the silver coast due to the silver color of the water, particularly in the early mornings just before sunrise . Any patina occurring on the copper you receive is due to natural exposure to the salt air in our area .The shop is located approximately 100 yards from the Atlantic ocean/sound and as a result The humidity carries the effects of the ocean. This is part of the natural beauty and patina of copper, however if you do not like it when it occurs you can easily be taken off with Brasso.
