Award "For service to the state" (hereinafter - the honor) - a nationwide non-state honors in a special status designed to urge soldiers to conscientious performance of official duties, increase self-esteem and restore the credibility of the army, becoming a society of respect for employees and veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine .
Award established to reward for exemplary performance of duty and successes in the training.
The distinction may be awarded:
- Soldiers;
- Members of other military formations;
- Those soldiers and officers;
- Other citizens of Ukraine;
- Citizens of other states.
Decoration is worn on the left side of the chest after the state awards of Ukraine, National Awards and other countries department encouraging decorations of Ukraine.
