Item powered on when batteries were inserted. However FM channel was very quiet. Item is in poor cosmetic condition. There is discoloration in several spots as well as a fair amount of dust buildup inside the dials and knobs. The antenna is loose and the piece that holds it in place when retracted is broken. The battery compartment is dirty but there does not appear to be any corrosion on the battery terminals. Battery cover is missing. Case is included and is in good condition.
