Prototypes for Custom 1:87 Tucker 48s

Made from 3d printed plastic components not diecast

Included in this auction are the following fantasy cars in 1:87 scale:

1: 1948 Tucker 48 with trailer hitch/hook

2: Tucker Travel Trailer

3: Tucker Double-ender (2 fronts joined together)

4: Back to The Future inspired Tucker 48 Time Machine

The regular Tucker 48 and the Time machine are being considered for production. Another version of the trailer may enter production at a later date. However, this one off version of the trailer and the double ender are hand made one-off creations that will not enter production in the foreseeable future.

These models were created for fun from a bad batch of prints we had in our prototyping phase of our 1:87 scale. Tucker 48 and served as experimental what if designs for Martin-Aero Miniatures

Martin-Aero Miniatures is a new start up model company that will be producing hand assembled and painted 3d printed models. Each model is sanded and given a coat of filler primer and sanded again (this process is repeated 2-3 times) before getting an automotive grade color coat. Finally, the models go through assembly, hand detailing, and  clear coat.
