Horst Antes (* 28. Oktober 1936 in Heppenheim) ist ein deutscher Maler, Grafiker und Bildhauer. Studium bei HAP Grieshaber an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Karlsruhe. Später selbst Professor an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste. Viele seiner Plastiken und Skulpturen sind im öffentlichen Raum ausgestellt. Er war Teilnehmer der documenta III (1964), der 4. documenta (1968), und auch der documenta VI im Jahr 1977 in Kassel. Kennzeichnend sind seine ab 1962 entstandenen Kopffüßler, bei denen Anregungen durch die Kachina-Puppen der Puebloindianer eine Rolle spielten, die lange Zeit sein einziges Motiv waren.
