You are buying an original Sanyo replacement battery to fit certain Braun Silk-epil 7 and Silk-epil 9 epilator models (marked with Type numbers 5377 or 5388), plus some Braun Series 7 shavers that use red Lithium-ion batteries of this size.

This genuine Sanyo rechargeable battery is the original type installed by Braun to their personal appliances and is fitted with the correct metal studs on each end for connection.

Lithium-ion batteries can ignite if short-circuited or fitted incorrectly so care must be taken when handling and fitting to avoid short-circuits. This battery must be installed with the correct polarity (+/-). It is possible to accidentally install it incorrectly, which could damage your appliance. Photograph your old battery in-situ before removing it, or mark your appliance indicating the positive end of the original battery. There is a groove around the circumference of the battery at the positive end. Seek professional guidance.

Not suitable for replacing Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries. Not compatible with Silk-épil 5 epilators, Silk-épil 9 Flex epilators (marked Type 5380 under the clip-on head), or Braun Series 5 shavers.
