CORNEREGEL®️ treats non-inflammatory diseases of the cornea and supports the healing of an injured cornea or conjunctiva.
CORNEREGEL®️ is highly viscous, which prolongs the time the drug stays on the eye and thereby increases its effectiveness.
CORNEREGEL®️ is suitable for long-term use until the subjective feeling of difficulty disappears.
CORNEREGEL®️ can be used by adults, adolescents and children.
Use:
-Treatment of non-inflammatory diseases of the cornea (keratopathy), such as corneal dystrophy (corneal nutrition disorder), corneal degeneration, recurrent corneal erosions (corneal peeling) and corneal lesions (injury to the cornea) associated with the use of contact lenses.
-Complementary treatment for the healing of damaged cornea and conjunctiva by etching or burning.
-Complementary treatment in the specific treatment of infectious processes on the cornea that have a bacterial, viral or fungal origin.
Way of use:
Depending on the severity and nature of the difficulties, it is applied 3-5 times a day, 1 drop into the conjunctival sac.
It is recommended to apply 1 drop also before sleeping at night.
The eye gel is suitable for long-term use until the subjective feeling of difficulty disappears.
Eye gel is dropped into the conjunctival sac.
The appropriate droplet size is achieved when the tube is held vertically above the eye during instillation.
The tube cap is suitable at the same time as a stand, which allows the tube to be stored vertically.
Contact lenses must be removed from the eye before applying the medicine and can be re-inserted up to 15 minutes after instilling the eye gel.
When using other eye medications at the same time, a time gap of at least 5 minutes should be observed and the eye gel should be applied last.
Composition:
One gram of eye gel contains 50mg of dexpanthenol.
Other components: cetrimide (preservative), carbomer, disodium edetate, dihydrate, sodium hydroxide, water for injections.
Warning:
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding will be decided by the doctor based on consideration of the risk-benefit ratio of the treatment.
The eye gel, even when used correctly, can cause blurred vision for a short time after instillation in the eye and thus can affect the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery.
After the first opening, the medicine is stored at a temperature of up to 25°C for 6 weeks.
