Real nice unit worthy of someone's collection as you don't see many of these. They came in a small sutcase, 16x12x6. Very nice styling with the heavy duty Simpson meter in the middle. Looks very much like the Eico 667 inside. Many of these type of testers shared designs with other larger companies patents and can share the same tube chart data for set up.
Needs calibration and probably some new electronic parts. The meter reacted to line button but would not go far enough left to meet the line adj.mark. I tried testing a tube and the needle pegged left. No further testing was tried. Disappointing because it's a nice high quality set with a high quality transformer. (see photos) Someone with a little experience with these should be able to get it working as there is really not too much inside as farther as circuitry goes.
Reviews are out there and favorable. Comes with original owners manual. The maroon suitcase has a nice handle and finish has some touch up painting but looks the vintage with no serious damage. See photos. No Returns. Sold as is, not working properly.
