Grimas Latex Prosthetics Noses are used for theatre, carnival, cosplay, fancy dress, film and television. When applied correctly, the latex prosthetics can be re-used several times.

Take the latex prosthetic out of the box and place it on the skin in the correct position to get an impression of whether the edges are a good fit before adhering. Colour prosthetic with concealer, foundation, greasepaint or cream make-up as desired.

Put a piece of tissue paper or cotton wool in the nose to maintain its shape and to absorb perspiration.

Apply a little Spirit Gum or Prosthetic Adhesive to the inside of the adhesive edge and allow it to dry for a few seconds. Allow the glue to dry for 15 seconds and then place the latex prosthetic back on the skin.
Use a spatula or similar to hold the edges properly in place and glue them straight. Press the edges down firmly with a tissue.

To get a smooth transition between the latex prosthetic and the skin, even the edges off as follows: apply a thin line of eyelash adhesive or WRATH Liquid Latex to the edge of a sponge and dab this over the transition between the latex prosthetic and the skin. Allow to dry on its own, or with the help of a hairdryer until the result is transparent. Repeat this process until a nice and even transition is obtained. Colour the edges of the transition with the colour being used. Powder it all off with WRATH Super Set Fixing Powder and then remove any excess powder.

Removal: Detach the adhesive edge with a cotton bud soaked in WRATH Spirit Gum Remover or WRATH Bond Breaker if using Prosthetic Adhesive. Remove the adhesive and make-up residues from the latex prosthetic with your chosen remover. Clean the latex prosthetic afterwards using water and soap, and powder it with Translucent Powder after drying (with a dryer, if necessary). Keep in a dark place.
