Natural Pigment Powder which can be used to colour many products.
Versatile Pigment Powders are a great way for adding bespoke colours to liquid wood finishes and wood waxes.
Pigment powders have an almost unlimited shelf life if kept dry and out of sunlight. As well as being perfect for creating colours for large projects these powders are also ideal for colouring small quantities of left over oils and waxes which otherwise may be left on the shelf until they are no longer usable.
Wax Polish - simply add the pigment powder to the polish and mix well to distribute evenly - a soft clear or neutral polish works best, or add to liquid wax polish. Apply enough coats to achieve desired depth of colour.
French Polish, Wood Oil and Varnish - Add powder to the liquid polish/oil/varnish and stir well. Strain mixture through a cloth before using to remove any remaining grains. If straining is not an option sanding lightly between coats will remove any grains and finish with a clear coat.
Glues and Fillers - Pigments will mix with liquid or powder glues and fillers.
