With a 10cm diameter this is the ultimate portable lamp. The handle measures 7cm so it won't take up much room in a rucksack.
It is suitable for use with methylated spirit.
The top section can be rotated with the handle to close the holes and thereby control the flame.
Inside is a metal mesh and lint-type wick.
It is a vintage item, so could be used as decoration.
It could also be used as an methylated spirit burning lamp with scented oil.
Has some age related marks (please refer to photos)
