Seated "Cat with a Bow" Still Bank, American, circa 1922.

“Cat With A Bow Seated” cast iron still bank is a difficult bank to acquire and is listed in Andy Moore’s “The Penny Bank Book” as #364 and rated a “D” (A to F rarity scale–A most common). It is not to be confused with “Seated Cat with Soft Hair” which is more common (“B” rated) and faces the other way and is painted different colors. “Cat With Bow” was made by the Grey Iron Casting Company, Mt. Joy, Pennsylvania in 1922. It is painted in gold with no other colors (as it should be)
