The famous Austrian organist, conductor, and teacher, Anton Heiller
(1923-1979) also composed a significant body of music for organ. For
this 3-CD set, all of the organ works are played by his former student,
Roman Summereder, on the well-known and large organ at the Basilica in
St. Florian, Austria, where Anton Bruckner was a choirboy, organist, and
is buried beneath the organ gallery. *Cornelia Horak sings in two
pieces.
