ANTIQUE "AUGSBURG TOWN HALL" HAND PRINTED POSTCARD. C.1900's.

The Town Hall of Augsburg is the administrative centre of Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany, and one of the most significant secular buildings of the Renaissance style north of the Alps.

It was designed and built by Elias Holl, Stadtbaumeister, in 1615–1624. Due to its historic and cultural importance, it is protected by the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict.

It's clear this postcard has been drawn by hand, as when looked up close, you can actually see fine, solid penned ink strokes. As well as the card scoured by the pen nib. Also signed in pencil.

It has some age to it, while the edges of the postcard are a little worn, this is in good condition for its age.
