Matching set - I believe they were a home craft project with appliqués and decoupage

Matching set with J V Reed metal trash can and a wooden tissue cover

Pretty gold detail on both items

Trash can has a different design on the front and back - it has some wear/chipping of paint/varnish on the bottom and edges - see photos

Tissue cover/box is wood with matching decorations - it looks to be missing a bottom slat that would slide in on the grooves - would function fine without it.

Overall good vintage condition
