These model railroad spikes are our preferred method to capo the 5th string on a banjo, and we go through a LOT of then in our shop.
These are sold in packages of 12. That gives you extra, just in case!
These are approximately 0.330" (8.38mm) long and 0.038" (0.97mm) in diameter and the head of these spikes are NOT the extra long ones that you'll need to clip.
