THE LONDON MAGAZINE - 1748

Marbled paper over boards with leather spine. 3/4 of the paper on the front has come off and a little along the edges of the back. The binding is strong but the text block was split in one place and then reglued. The faded leather has been spruced up a bit and a cloth label (made to look old) has replaced the missing one. The fold-out frontispiece has some extra creases along the folds, but all the others are in excellent shape. Map of Norfolk, Middlesex, Cornhill, Hartfordshire, Plan of the Harbour of Port Lewis and Five Ships (not fold-outs), Buckingham Shire, Essex (some creasing at the bottom left corner, Huntingdon Shire, Northumberland, Hanover, 609pp. plus index which has some ink staining on the bottom margins.
