Why the redesign?

In our CFD simulations, existing designs (specifically the internal fins) reduced the output flow too much with preference of turbulence (i.e. random flow), despite having an educator nozzle built in, which should have in theory increased flow by around 5 times. We have also found that some designs which have been distributed (specifically noticeable due to its shorter length) do not randomise flow very much at all.

Reef-Print’s revised and improved flow nozzles creates a fine balance between improving flow performance with the educator nozzle and providing optimal random flow through the redesigned internal fins.

Why do you need one?

• Random Flow – Random Flow Generators does exactly what it says on the tin! It provides random flow patterns from your return pump outlet, mimicking the natural sea currents
  
  
• Flow booster – the built in educator uses the variations in pressure to suck in additional water surrounding the RFG, and increases flow volume by around 5 times!
  
  
• Your corals will love you for it – because you will no longer be blasting the corals face-on!

What size do I need?

• There are several guides available on Google to help you determine what is the correct Loc-Line size you require and we really do recommend that you look up the sizing guides online before ordering, as the 1/2", 3/4" sizing refers to the neck size of the loc-line, not the opening size.
