This crankshaft is compatible with all N55 engines, automatic or manual transmission, and can be used in a 135, 235, 335, 535, 640, 740, x1, x3, , x4, x5, x6 etc.
Taken from a 2011 BMW F10 535i with manual transmission. 130k miles. The crankshaft has some minor damage by the 5th cylinder. The piston broke and caused this damage. The journal closest to the damage has only minor scratches which are on the surface of that journal only, and not really felt by touch. The main damage, which shouldn't affect functionality, is on the counter weights and those may warrant attention.
