Wonderful Midwinter, England stoneware lidded teapot from the Stonehenge range in the fabulously retro "Woodland" pattern. We believe this pattern was produced from 1974-1983.
Embossed "Midwinter - Made in England" on the base.
The teapot appears to have never been used and it's in absolutely pristine condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, crazing, scratches or stains ... it looks exactly as it would have on the day it left the Midwinter Pottery.
The base diameter is 13cm (5 1/8"). Without the lid in place, from the base to the rim, the teapot stands 17cm (6 3/4") tall. With the lid in place, the teapot stands 19.5cm (7 3/4") tall.
With its timeless design and funky burnt orange and mission brown pattern, this teapot would look as equally at home in a vintage setting, as it would within a contemporary one.
