Features

After the bus is shorted, the USB indicator goes out and the internal auto-shutdown bus enters the protection state. It detects whether the bus is short-circuited every 4 seconds.

Once the short-circuit is automatically recovered, the USB indicator is automatically restored. The module enters protection and low power consumption and the computer USB will not be dead (If USB dead, it needs to restart the computer).

 Hint: Since there is voltage on the MBUS bus, the bus protection function is essential for the converter. Unprotected converters may cause the computer's USB serial port to crash and may cause permanent damage to the USB.

Cautions:

1. The MBUS host module can only communicate with the slave module. The master module cannot communicate with the master module. The slave module cannot communicate with the slave module. There can only be one master on the same MBUS bus

2. USB power supply capacity is limited, MBUS bus can load up to 10 standard slave devices, too many slave devices will make the module into overload protection state.

3. Bus protection function, the module will not be damaged after the MBUS bus is short-circuited, but try to avoid long-term short circuit.

4. All interfaces of this module cannot touch the strong electricity.

5. If you encounter problems during the debugging process, you can purchase a slave module to test with the master module, and communicate with other devices after confirming that there is no problem.




USB to MBUS slave module

This module is used for MBUS master and slave module communication debugging, and the module is used as the slave to communicate with the host terminal through the USB terminal. The integrated chip FC722 is used as the slave end, which is different from the TSS721A without self-receiving, and has lower bus leakage current than the discrete device circuit integrated chip.The module MBUS signal is completely isolated from the USB signal, so you don't have to worry about MBUS high level damage to the computer USB interface! The MBUS signal circuit takes power from the MBUS bus and has nothing to do with USB!
