A superb  disc of Italian songs from this great tenor. This is committed and fine music-making. The digitally remastered analogue sound is rich, full, clear and warm. The great man is at his finest here. These were recorded in 1958 and 1964, before wear and tear took its toll on his magnificent instrument. There is plenty of brio here, but also sensitivity and refinement.

The disc, box and booklet insert are in very good condition.
