How rare is this double sign id, 1860's 1872 FORGAE  era kepi, it has the students name twice, once in the top J.B. HALL ROOM 19 ,DESK 251, and then on the sweat band J.B. HALL 131 WEST CONCORD I. This kepi is in great shape, has the original liner with string to adjust how the hat fits on your head. The C S B IS GOLD BULLION, the eagle buttons are tight, even the band to hold the hat on is still there one end is unattached, but easy fix. The blue kepi material is perfect, the leather bill has water but in above good condition ,as is the sweat band. This hat was made by BENT& BRUSH Boston, which is stamped in the top , they made hats for the CIVIL WAR and the Marine corp, several of these schools were used to guard confederate prisoners on Georges island & Fort Warren. I have seen several other schools in the Boston area ,with hats by BRUSH & BENT ,BUT THIS IS THE ONLY FROM THIS SCHOOL I'VE SEEN>
