formula.
Perfumer:
Gerard Goupy
Odor profile:
One of the iconic architectural perfumes (along with Chanel
No.5, Dior Poison and YSL In Love Again).
Due to considerable portion of aldehydes, combined
with floral essential oils, and powdery oriental base, the resulting scent has
no analogs in nature. Maybe that's what it smells like in the Garden of Eden?
Climat’s aroma is quite peculiar (you did not smell
anything like this before) and irrevocably attributed to Climat (as no other similar
scent yet created).
Main
notes to mention aldehydes, bergamot, violet, peach, lily of the valley, narcissus, ylang-ylang,
jasmine, rose, orris,
sandalwood, vetiver,
incense, tonka bean, musk,
ambergris, civet.
Dating clues:
1. The flacon started marking with 14 ml in 1974. Yes,
on this flacon.
2. Since 1975 flacons started making by Pochet et du
Courval (HP) with sicker glass, just bigger pedestal and simpler molding in
bottom. You can see only LANCOME and HP. Yes, it’s true for this flacon, and it holds 14
ml maximum.
3. Box after 1975 became intense blue with bigger
pedestal holder. New reference code system. Yes, for this box.
4. I wonder why the box marked with 15 cc. No idea.
