Irritated skin and sebo-squamous skin is located on the areas with the most sebaceous glands. This condition is not linked to hyperseborrhea, but rather to secondary inflammation with microscopic fungi (Malassezia genus). This inflammation appears with more or less squamous (dead cells) red flakes, sometimes with pruritus, located in very specific areas: the nasolabial folds, sides of the nose, eyelids and eyebrows. On the scalp, this condition appears with oily, yellowish flakes on top of red scales; these can be found on the edge of the forehead and behind the ears and are often itchy.
