Noel 1942
A stunning art deco marble ink stand. French with stylised bronze or brass deer to each side. A metal plaque inscribed as shown and includes the date 1942. A stunning piece, very heavy for it's size and well made. There are some nibbles etc to the marble in keeping with it's years, mainly to one underside at the corner so not really an issue and the glass ink well is broken but it is with it and can't be seen with the lid down. One of the little metal feet is a bit loose but again, a minor thing for it's age. In good condition for age and a really interesting and stunning piece.
