Among the sub-titles are these: THE TWO-HEADED PENNY… LOOKINF FOR MR BASKERVILLE… EXERCISE BY RUNNING… THE DEAD CAT AND THE PEACH TREE… MESMERIZING A CHICKEN... THE SEEDY ONE AND THE MUSIC BOX... WHIPPING PERCY... BEAN-BLOWING AND THE BROOKLYN POLICEMAN… and BEAN-BLOWING IN LONDON… Harper’s in this era was dedicated to text articles. There are advertising sections in the front and back. The magazine measures 9 5/8 inches X 6 5/8 inches… This is a wonderful time capsule. The first issue is in nice shape. It has typical vintage edge and corner wear.
