This cast brass plate was originally an identification plate on a 100 volt 22.83 amp, 2.5HP motor. The hand stamping also includes the number 1941 suggesting that it dates from the 1940s the styling of the plate and lettering used for the company logo are more art deco in style so perhaps the plates were cast in the 1930s. The plate is un-restored with old varnish and other patina. Measuring around 3 by 4 inches the plate is not huge but being 2-3mm thick it has a pleasing weight and solidity.
