This handcrafted Khatam wall clock is a made from wood and metals. It operates with an AA battery which is not included. It weighs 1.3 kg . Diameter of the screen is 20 cm. The outer diameter is 33 cm. The enamel painted (Minakari ) screen of this clock is made from copper. The wide frame of this clock is decorated in two methods which is called Tazhib and Khatam . The combination of golden colour used in Khatam beside the colours used in the clocks frame has added to the beauty of this clock. Latin numbers are the style used in Khatam clocks which is seen in this clock as well and in combination with a white background it has increased the legibility of the clocks black hands. Slimi and Traditional designs have been used to decorate this clock. The design devisions has been on number four basis so that the famous sun design is illustrated four times on the clocks frame, which indicates four main directions North, East, South and West and four main elements which are Soil, Water, Wind and Fire.
