We are starting to sell off our Pokemon Cards, Packs, Albums, Etc., from My Old Toy Store that we ran in Central Illinois from 1998-2001: During The Grand Old Days of Yomega, Pokemon, Furby's, Barbie's, Game Boy Color, Star Wars, Etc. All of our Toy items are in NEW, FACTORY SEALED CONDITION. All items have been stored together in our own CLEAN Home Office Storage OR in Bank Safe Deposit Boxes, since year 2001.
This auction is for a NEW, Factory Sealed Complete Set of 4 BUTTERFLY ART BARBIE FASHIONS from 1998 + A NEW Butterfly Art Barbie Doll in her Factory Sealed Box. They are Lovely Multi-Colored Outfits, including Dresses, Skirts, Shorts, as well as a set of Sunglasses in each package &, of course, a set of Tattoos. These were ALL FOUR of the outfits produced ONLY for the BUTTERFLY ART BARBIE COLLECTION. It's very rare to find the four of them, for sale together, in MINT, PRISTINE, FACTORY SEALED CONDITION.
The Butterfly Art Barbie Doll Collection & All Accessories were pulled from Toy Store shelves, do to the Public feeling it was not feminine, taboo & inappropriate for a child's toy to have tattoos on it. Quite the "scandal" back then. A much different World back in 1998-99.
The Barbie doll pictured has a slight factory dent in the lower right hand corner. Also, there is a factory sticker on the back of her box (see photo #4). We've left it on, as it may add to her value. We have dozens of these dolls, so if you'd prefer an un-dented box, just message us when you make your purchase.
