You will be able to create content of much higher quality thanks to the 24.2mp APS-C Dual Pixel CMOS AF II sensor. This allows you to capture images at up to 12 fps (15fps for electronic shutter) or video of up to 4K/30P or Full HD 120P video. Other useful features include a Vari-Angle touchscreen, electronic viewfinder and a grip that fits naturally in your hand. Vertical Shooting Function

Guided User Interface

The camera features a Guided User Interface to enhance your creativity and photographic skills right out of the box. When you switch modes it will explain what the mode does so that you have a greater understanding of the process. Essentially, the camera has a built-in user manual so that you can always make the right creative choices.

The R50 is the smallest and lightest camera in the EOS R range weighing in at a mere 375g. The camera features mode dials and a simple button layout for ease of use as well as a separate record button for video.
