It is personally monogrammed on the back in a Gothic letter R, otherwise, it shows typical light wear from use and storage, including minor surface marks and scratches. It has been gently hand polished and ultrasonic cleaned in a mild dish soap, and it has nice shine, is very clean, and is table ready. It is straight, not bent out of shape, with no major issues at all.
It is hallmarked on the back STERLING PAT. OCT. 11, 1887 and the stylized letter T for historic and listed USA silversmith, Towle Manufacturing Co. of Newburyport, Massachusetts.
