No electricity! No cables! Just lots of hot water for your wood-fired hot tub :-)

A stainless steel heater coil with 2 x 200cm heat-resistant hose and brass connectors - great for heating your hot tub without any need for electrical plug points, extension cables etc made from extremely durable materials. Great for long-term outdoor use.

The heater coil:
  • 6 metres of 1”(25.4mm) stainless 304 steel tube (with a 1.5mm wall)
  • inner diameter - 300mm
  • outer diameter - 360mm
  • two coil heights - compact (approx. 170-200mm high, good for logs and charcoal) and standard (approx 210-250mm high, good for logs). MESSAGE US WITH YOUR PREFERRED COIL HEIGHT - if you do not specify a preferred coil height, we will dispatch a standard coil.
  • comes with 300mm tails (tail length is measured from the outermost edge of the coil to the end of the tail).

The hose:
  • heavy-duty, 1" heat-resistant hose
  • can withstand up to 120 degrees centigrade
  • comes unattached to coil for ease of delivery - snug fit but a firm push will attach it to the tails. Stainless steel jubilee clips provided to secure the hose.
The connectors:
  • two threaded brass hose barbs, which plug into the end of the hose
  • two threaded brass bulkhead connectors (1" male & 3/4 inch female thread), which screw onto the hose barbs
  • a simple way to attach a heater coil with flexible hose to your hot tub setup.

To use, first attach to your hot tub by the appropriate method. Then build a fire within the coil and allow the hot tub water to heat. Heating time will vary depending on water temperature, ambient temperature and hot tub size - be sure to have a means of checking your water temperature before use and of reducing/extinguishing your fire once that temperature is reached.

Please note that the single length 1" (25.4mm) tube coil is our smallest model and we only recommend it up to around 1000 litres. If you are looking to heat more water than this, or heat it quickly, please look at our 1-1/4" coils and our coils with fireguards. For substantially more water than this, please look at our biggest coils (which have at least 12 metres of steel tubing) and contact us before making your purchase.
