You are looking at a Complete Bound Set of All 18 High-Grade Issues of the First Silver Surfer Series from 1968 - 70.

Aside from its significance in the history of Marvel Comics, this series featured some of the best works produced by Stan Lee, John Buscema and Jack Kirby.

These issues were all purchased new from the same drug store, collected and bound into a single attractive hardcover volume long before the scarcity and value of the Silver Surfer comics soared beyond the stratosphere. They still look fresh and crisp even after over 50 years.

As is typical of bound comics sets, these comics have been very lightly trimmed to produce a flush uniform look without diminishing the integrity and appeal of each issue.

The binding has not detracted from the artwork of each issue and has a real charm of its own as bound comics go. I was very very careful to photograph each cover without breaking the spine or damaging the pages in any way whatsoever.

Each issue is complete with no chipping, writing, creasing or any condition issues that would disqualify them from being high-grade copies. I don't work for CGC but have been collecting comics for over 50 years and am comfortable describing this set as a high-grade collection. Please see the attached photos.
